Dr. Rachel Taylor
Sport and Exercise Medicine Physician
Dr. Rachel Taylor completed her undergraduate training in the UK graduating from the University of Bristol with a Bachelor of Anatomical Science in 2003 and Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 2006.
Rachel spent the next five years working mainly in the fields of Orthopaedics and Emergency Medicine in both the UK and Australia. She completed the Australian College of Sports Medicine Part I examination in 2011 entering the advanced training programme for Sports and Exercise Medicine in 2012.
Rachel has been working at Hills Sports Medicine since 2014. She spent 2015 at Aspetar Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Hospital Doha, Qatar completing a Fellowship in Sports Medicine.
She has worked with a variety of elite sporting teams. This year she is working with Manly Sea Eagles providing medical coverage for their NSW Cup squad. She has also worked with GWS Giants AFL team during their inaugural 2012 season, Sydney FC, Rowing and Athletics Australia, Balmain Tigers Junior Reps Team and Young Mathilda’s Soccer Team. Rachel is also a medical provider for the NSW Institute of Sport.
She has provided medical coverage for many events such as APIA International Tennis, FINA World Cup, Diamond League, World Paralympic games, Six Foot Track Endurance Race and Youth Olympics.
Dr. Taylor consults on all musculoskeletal injuries, acute and chronic as well as medical conditions relating to exercise.
