Matthew is very passionate about helping people of all ages. Matthew holds qualifications in both Podiatry and Health Sciences from the Universities of Sydney and Newcastle. He has completed various other courses in addition to these Degrees, which focus on alternative treatment and assessment protocols. Matthew is a member of the Australian Podiatry Association, Australasian Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine, and Sports Medicine Australia.

Thanks to his extensive education, Matthew has been able to bring a unique, holistic and comprehensive approach to the way he manages all issues, ranging from;

• General podiatry – including corns, callus, warts, fissuring, bunions, fungal nails and athlete’s foot
• Diabetes management and the prevention of microvascular and macrovascular complications
• Paediatrics
• Sports injury assessment and management
• Orthotic therapy

Matthew regularly attends the gym and plays several forms of football, basketball and kickboxing, which has given him a great understanding of the heavy demands of these sports. This has assisted him in the treatment of professional and amateur athletes from various sports such as bowling, rugby league, soccer, middle and long distance running, triathlons, basketball and boxing. Currently, Matthew assists both the Central Coast Mariners and Sydney FC in the Australian A-League competition.

Whilst Matthew is very knowledgeable about the diverse nature of all common issues relating to the feet and knees, He has a special interest in lower limb biomechanics, paediatrics (including growing pains and developmental milestones) and the prevention and rehabilitation of injuries. Matthew loves to relate information to clients from all walks of life to easily understand the complexities of lower limb biomechanics and anatomy.
Matthew can be seen at our clinic on Monday mornings, Wednesday mornings, Thursday mornings and all day on Fridays.
